Emetia completed her degree at the Univerity of Pretoria in South Africa in 2006, and served her internship at Randwick Equine Centre before joining the practice this year as an associate.

Her primary focus at the practice incorporates diagnostic imaging and anaesthesia and assisting with racetrack and ambulatory work.
